1. Place the two "ORE Boards" 9 yards (27 feet) apart from front edge to front edge.
2. Determine who goes first by each player tossing 1 bag and the player closest to or in the hole goes first. NOTE: If playing 1 on 1 both play from the same side; if playing doubles, 2 players from opposing teams stand on one end and the other 2 on the other.
3. Scoring: 1 point is rewarded for landing a bag onto the "ORE Board" and 3 points are rewarded for tossing the bag through he hole. The 1st player tosses, then the 2nd player tosses, and keep alternating turns until all 8 bags are tossed. The difference in points awarded is the score for that round. Then the other 2 players do the same and the score is added on to the team with the winning round. EXAMPLE: player 1 puts 2 bags on the "ORE Board" and one through the hole and player 2 puts one on the "ORE Board" and none through the hole. The score would be 4-0.
4. Only a bag that remains on the "ORE Board" can be counted. If the 1st player hits the 2nd players bag off then player one's point does not count. Also, if a bag has come to rest on top of a bag that is on the ground and the board, the point only counts if the bag on the ground can be removed and the other bag remains on the board.
5. Play continues to 21 exactly. If a team "busts" (goes over 21) then that team's score goes back to 13. The team reaching exactly 21 wins.
6. The front edge of the "ORE Board" is the foot line and if a players foot crosses that line during a toss, that toss does not count.
7. If a bag bounces (from the ground or any other object that is not the "ORE Board") onto the "ORE Board" that point does not count and is removed. Also, if a bag bounces and hits another bag off, that bag is replaced onto the "ORE Board."
8. Any player may throw from either side of the "ORE Board" however that player must throw all 4 bags from that side in that round.
GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN!
